Larry Madowo currently serves as a CNN International Correspondent and takes on the role of hosting the African Voices Changemakers and Playmakers series.
Prior to this, he held the position of North America Correspondent at the BBC, where he also anchored breaking news and presented BBC World News America from Washington, DC.

Liz Madowo, the sister and sole sibling of Larry Madowo, is a Moi University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. Beyond her academic pursuits, Liz is recognized as both a stylist and a fashion blogger.
Throughout her career, Liz has held roles in various establishments. Following her graduation in 2014, she managed external communications and worked with designers at a PR and Events company.
During her tenure there, she also took charge of project coordination for emerging designers. In 2018, Liz transitioned to a position at Irvine Partners PR, where she remained for approximately three years.
Originally hailing from Bading, a village in Siaya County, Liz spent much of her early life there alongside Larry, her only sibling. The siblings endured the challenges of orphanhood throughout their formative years.
