Dame Laura Rebecca was born in Britain on April 24, 1992. She is a track and road cyclist who specializes in track endurance competitions, particularly the team pursuit, omnium, scratch race, elimination race, and madison disciplines.
She is the most successful female cyclist and British female athlete in Olympic history with six medals, having won the team pursuit, omnium, and madison at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Games, respectively. Laura is also the only athlete to have won both the gold and silver medals in the team pursuit event.
She has won seven World Championship, fourteen European Championship, and one Commonwealth Games titles since her debut at the European Track Championships in 2010, for a total of 17 titles since then.

Laura and Kenny live near Knutsford in Cheshire where they are raising their children. Their son was born on 23 August 2017. They have since lost two pregnancies. Albert who is five years of age has been spotted at some of his mother’s cycling events.
