Dame Laura Rebecca was born in Britain on April 24, 1992. She is a track and road cyclist who specializes in track endurance competitions, particularly the team pursuit, omnium, scratch race, elimination race, and madison disciplines.
She is the most successful female cyclist and British female athlete in Olympic history with six medals, having won the team pursuit, omnium, and madison at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Games, respectively. Laura is also the only athlete to have won both the gold and silver medals in the team pursuit event.
She has won seven World Championship, fourteen European Championship, and one Commonwealth Games titles since her debut at the European Track Championships in 2010, for a total of 17 titles since then.

Both her mother and father lived in Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, where they enrolled her in Turnford School. They have two daughters including Laura’s older sister Emma Trott who is a former road racing cyclist.
