Laura Robson is a former British professional tennis play with Australian origins. Born in Melbourne, Australia on 21 January 1994, Laura made her professional debut in 2008.
The Robson family moved to the United Kingdom when Laura was 6.
Her first tournament was in November 2008 on the ITF Women’s Circuit.
She also played alongside Andy Murray in the mixed-doubles competition at the 2012 London Olympics, where they won a silver medal.
Laura had her highest ever ranking in her playing career at No.27 in July 2013. She has had injuries that hampered her progress in the sports with long layoffs.
She retired from tennis on the 16 May 2022 at age 28, having being absent from Tour since 2018 due to hip injury.
