Andrew Symonds was an Australian international cricketer, who played all three formats as a batting all-rounder.
Symonds was an integral part in two World Cup winning squads. Symonds was a right-handed middle order batsman. He alternated between medium space and off-spin bowling.
He was also renowned for his outstanding fielding abilities.
After mid-2008, Symonds had a lengthy absence off the team because of disciplinary motives, which included alcohol. In June 2009, Symonds was expelled at the end of his participation in the 2009 World Twenty20, his third suspension, expulsion, or exclusion from the selection in the space of one year.

Born on June 9, 1975, in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Symonds passed away in a single-vehicle car crash in Townsville, Queensland, on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the age of 46.

Andrew first marriage with Brooke lasted for only a year. The couple got married in 2004 and divorced in 2005.
Andrew and his second wife Laura got married in 2014, 12 months after the birth of their son.
The couple first met while she was studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Movement Science at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and was given working experience for Queensland Bulls’ strength and conditioning department in 2004.
They were both in a relationship at the time, but struck the bonds of friendship. On Melbourne Cup Day in 2009, Symonds texted Laura asking whether she had any tip.
After the horse won and Symonds cleaned up, he asked her to go to his Brisbane home for a meal to celebrate.
