World-famous Hollywood actor, Sean Penn, has lost his mother, actress Eileen Ryan Penn.
Eileen was the mother of Sean and his two brothers, Chris Penn and singer Michael Penn.
Born in New York City on 16 October 1927 to Italian American Amerigo Giuseppe Annucci, who was a dentist, and Rose Isabel Annucci an Irish American nurse, she began acting in 1955.
Penn is widely known for roles in Twilight Zone, Men of a Certain Age, Grey’s Anatomy, and Without a Trace in television.
Her movie credits include, Rules Don’t Apply, Mother and Child, and Anywhere but Here.
Penn died at the age of 94 in Malibu, California.
