Veteran actor Leon Vitali famously known for collaborating with filmmaker, Stanley Kubrick, has passed away at the age of 74.
Leon Vitali was most known for working with Stanley Kubrick and making appearances in several of the director’s movies.
Leon entered the acting industry as a guest star in a number of TV shows in the 1970s before meeting Kubrick in 1974. Leon played roles in a number of films by Kubrick including the role of Lord Bullingdon in Barry Lyndon.
Leon Vitali Illness: What Disease Did Leon Vitali Have?
According to a statement on Kubrick’s official Twitter account, the star, who starred in the films Eyes Wide Shut in 1999 and 1975’s Barry Lyndon, Leon Vitali died peacefully on Saturday night, August 20, 2022.
“It is with the greatest of sadness that we have to tell you that the mainstay of a vast number of Kubrick’s films, Leon Vitali, passed away peacefully last night. Our thoughts are with his family and all that knew and loved him. 26 July 1948 – 20 August 2022,” the statement said.
He was not known to have any disease or suffering from any illness.
