Lewis Hamilton Says He Is Not The Same Man He Was After Trip To Africa

Famous British racing driver, Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he has been transformed into a different person following his trip to Africa.

The 37-year-old Formula One great recently traveled to Namibia, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania in an effort to “connect with my roots and my history.”

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion traded the track for the diverse animals and culture of Africa, and he later hailed the trip as a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The British driver, whose father is of Grenadian heritage, wrote on Instagram on Thursday that the previous two weeks had been “some of the best days of my entire life.”

“I’m not the same man I was before this trip, all the beauty, love, and peacefulness I experienced has me feeling fully transformed. I connected with my roots and my history and I feel my ancestors with me now stronger than I ever have before.”
