Lil Wayne Pulls Out Of Strawberries & Creem Following Ban From Entering UK

Following a restriction from the Home Office that forbids him from entering the UK, Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., has been forced to cancel his appearance at Strawberries & Creem.

The songwriter’s visa application was unexpectedly denied by the Home Office, preventing him from taking the stage at the forthcoming music festival on Saturday.

Lil Wayne will miss the Strawberries & Creem festival, where he was scheduled to perform alongside Tion Wayne, Mabel, Wilkinson, and Katy B. Ludacris will, however, take Lil Wayne’s place on the show as a result of the latest situation.

“Due to extreme circumstances beyond our control or influence, we are very sorry to inform you that Lil Wayne is now unable to perform at the festival… Lil Wayne has been refused entry to the UK directly by the Home Office in a last-minute decision. We are deeply disappointed by this sudden and negative ruling,” Strawberries & Creem said in a statement.
