Accra Hearts of Oak attacker, Linda Mtange has revealed the reason for his missing the MTN FA Cup game against Dreams Football Club.
Linda Mtange, a fan-favorite, was missing in the match on Sunday when his team lost by a lone goal to Dreams FC in the Round of 32 in the domestic cup competition.
There were reports after the match that the Congolese midfielder did not play because there is a rift between him and some officials of the club.
In an interview with Akoma FM, Mtange dismissed the reports, stating that he missed the FA Cup match because of ill health.
He stressed that there is no problem between him, his teammates, management, or the coach and that reports making the rounds that Hearts owe him some unpaid signing-on fees are untrue.
Linda Mtange added that the club is taking care of him, providing him with everything he requires, and is enjoying his stay in Ghana.
