Lisa’s husband has never had cancer but it was he who saved her from what could potentially have been a deadly fight with cancer.
Peter noticed what Lisa considered a freckle she has had for more than two decades between her eyes.
His conversation led to a doctor’s appointment which led to the revelation that the freckly was a potentially cancerous melanoma.
The cancer cells were removed, saving her life.
Lisa’s father died of lung cancer on 16 May 1990.
