Maisha Momotaz Meem Age & Death
Momotaz Meem was killed after a suspected hit-and-run on the Kuril flyover in Dhaka yesterday morning, according to the police.
“The deceased was identified as Maisha Momotaz Meem (21), a sixth-semester student of the university’s English department. Meem was heading towards the NSU campus on her scooter when the accident happened,” said police.
“CCTV footage of the area showed that a covered van closely passing by Meem’s scooter on the flyover. But it was not clear in the footage whether the van hit her scooter,” Khilkhet Police Station Officer-in-Charge Munshi Sabbir told The Daily Star.
“She was found dead on the flyover around 7:30 am” he added.
She was 21 years.
