Maisie Louise Collender Smith was born 9 July 2001 in Westcliff, Essex, England.
She is an English actress and singer.
Smith attended school at Belfairs Academy and then went to the Sandra Singer Stage School for eighteen months. She studied musical theatre at South Essex College.
Smith was first featured in the film The Other Boleyn Girl as a young Elizabeth I; she then went on to star in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. She released her first single titled Good Thing in November 2016 followed by the second Where My Heart Is was released in March 2019.
Smith competed in the eighteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing partnering Gorka Marquez where they finished in second place.
In May 2022, it was announced Smith would be making her musical theatre debut in Strictly Ballroom: The Musical, playing Fran.
