Seasoned South African singer, Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, popularly known as Makhadzi, has taken to Facebook to advise her fans to praise God after she narrowly escaped getting shot as thugs robbed her at gunpoint.
Earlier this week, the management of the singer revealed that she had been left traumatized after two men with guns approached her while she was preparing to climb on stage to perform at a venue.
According to her management, Makhadzi was standing outside her car at Ga-Rankuwa Shisanyama awaiting her performance when two men armed with a gun approached her and took her phone.
As if that wasn’t scary enough, the gunmen fired at the singer as they left the scene, while Makkhadzi took to her heels to save her life.
Makhadzi’s manager added that after the shooting they saw a suspicious car following them as they left the venue and therefore pulled into a police station for their safety.
Thanking God for saving her life, Makhadzi wrote, “Don’t forget to thank God for your life. Life is too short.”
