A man has been arrested for allegedly murdering rapper, Lamar Jackson, who goes by Hypo in show business.
The rapper was attacked by the said assailant while standing in front of a massive crowd at Redbridge last Friday.
According to reports, the post-mortem revealed that the rapper had died from “sharp force trauma to the chest.”
The man, 32, was arrested on the morning of Saturday, June 4, 2022, and remains in custody until further processing.
According to the Met Police, they received calls from the venue in Chigwell Road in Woodford Green where the rapper was found and pronounced dead right at the scene of the crime.
“This attack happened at a party and we know that a large number of people would have been in attendance.
“I would urge anyone who is yet to speak with us to come forward and let us know what you saw.
“Please take a look and call us. It is vital that we establish what happened,” Det Ch Insp Laurence Smith said.
