After an emotional return to Old Trafford, Manchester United have confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo will wear the iconic No. 7 jersey.
Edinson Cavani, who wore the shirt last season, will now take over the No 21 shirt left vacant by Dan James, who joined Leeds in a £30 million deal last week.
After being granted permission by the Premier League, the club confirmed the striker’s return to his old shirt number.
