Mark Randall Meadows was born on 28 July 1959 in Verdun, France. He is an American politician who from 2020 to 2021 served as the 29th White House Chief of Staff.
Meadows had attended Florida State University for a year but graduated from the University of South Florida with an Associate of Arts.
In the late 1980s, Mark ventured into business by starting a small restaurant called “Aunt D’s” in Highlands, North Carolina. He sold the restaurant and started a real estate company in Tampa, Florida with the proceeds.
A member of the Republican Party, Meadows served as the party’s chairman in Macon County in North Carolina. He was also on the board of North Carolina’s Economic Development in Western North Carolina.
Meadows owns Highlands Properties, a company with expertise in land development and construction. He is also a partner at the Conservative Partnership Institute.
