The incident happened at around 8.50pm, and Mr Melnychuk was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency personnel arrived.

Mark Melnychuk died on Wednesday night, February 23, 2022, after an incident in the library of Trinity College Dublin. Mark’s cause of death has yet to be determined.
“All the circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated. In due course, a postmortem will be performed, and the results will determine the route of the inquiry.” Gardai said.
