Maurice Lindsay was the chairman of Preston North End F.C. and also of Wigan Warriors R.L.F.C. and also played two seasons as a player at the club following his stint as one of the “Gang Of Four’ directors who operated the club in the midst of its dominance over this league during the 80s.
