Meet Cal Foote Parents and Siblings

Callan Hayden Foote, an American-born Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman, currently plays for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League (NHL).

He was chosen as the 14th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning. Foote achieved the milestone of winning the Stanley Cup with the Lightning in 2021.

Cal Foote was born to his father Adam Foote and his mother Jennifer Foote. Cal Foote’s father is a former Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who currently serves as the Assistant Coach for the Vancouver Canucks in the National Hockey League (NHL).

He also held the position of head coach for the Kelowna Rockets in the Western Hockey League. Known for his tough and physical style of play, he excelled as a stay-at-home defenseman.

It’s interesting to note that Cal was drafted at the 14th overall pick, eight spots higher than his father, who was selected 22nd overall by the Quebec Nordiques in 1989.

His father, who was born on July 10, 1971, in Toronto, Canada, is currently 52 years old.

Nolan Foote is the brother of Cal. He is a professional ice Canadian hockey forward born in the United States and playing for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League. Nolan was selected as the 27th overall pick by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

Nolan was born on November 29, 200, in Englewood, Colorado, United States, and is currently 23 years old.
