Famous American rapper Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, known professionally as Megan Thee Stallion has revealed that she paid Future a whopping $250k to get him to rap on her track Pressurelicious.
Megan, 27, said she wanted the 38-year-old hip-hop icon to rap a verse after she finished the beat for her song, Pressurelicious, one of the tracks on her Traumazine album which was released on August 12.
Speaking on LA Leakers on Power 106 Los Angeles, she explained she knew Future was the right person to step on the beat right after recording her part.
“‘I had the beat for Pressurelicious, right? I recorded the song, and I recorded it one way. And I’m like, ‘You know what? This would really sound hard if Future was on it. So I feel like being a woman in the industry, reaching out to a man trying to get a feature is always going to be a task. You never know what to expect.”
She added that after contacting the rapper, she found out Future wanted $250k which she paid immediately.
“I was like, ‘OK, bet. Somebody go pull $250,000 out of the bank and go drop it off to Future and tell him I need the verse before he leaves Miami.”
