Michael Fred Phelps II was born on 30 June 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a former competitive swimmer from America.
With a total of 28 medals, he is easily the most successful and most decorated Olympian of all time.
Nicknamed “The Baltimore Bullet”, Phelps won twenty-three Olympic gold medals which is an all-time record for gold medals won by an Olympian.
Phelps, who is of English, German, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh descent attended Rodgers Forge Elementary, Dumbarton Middle School, and Towson High School, from which he graduated in 2003.
As a child, Michael was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He began swimming at the age of seven with the prompting and encouragement of his mother and sisters.
He volunteers as an assistant coach for Arizona State Sun Devils swim team.
Phelps set up the Michael Phelps Foundation with the $1 million Speedo bonus he got after the 2008 Olympics. His foundation focuses on growing the sport of swimming and promoting healthier lifestyles.

Whitney Phelps
Whitney Phelps was born in April 1980. She attended the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, where she set the American record in women’s 200m fly with 1:59.01.
Whitney works as an HR Specialist and recruiter at MarGenics, Inc. in Rockville, Maryland. She has two children.
Hilary Phelps
Hilary Phelps runs Hilary Phelps Creative which she founded in 2013.
She graduated from the University of Richmond in 2000, with a degree in Criminal Justice.
While in Richmond she served as a student leader on the university’s volunteer action committee.
Hilary lives and works in the DC metro area with her son, Alexander.
