Michael T. Strahan was born on 21 November 1971 in Houston, Texas. He is an American television personality, journalist, astronaut, and former professional American football player.
Strahan played for the New York Giants in the National Football League as a defensive end for 15 years. He was an integral part of the 2007 Super Bowl XLII winning team the New York Giants.
Strahan played college football at Texas Southern University from where he graduated in 1993 the same year he turned professional.
He began his media career by appearing on Fox NFL Sunday as a football analyst and is now the host of the Pyramid game show for ABC.
In 2014, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Strahan flew into space on December 11, 2021, aboard Blue Origin NS-19. At 6’5″, he became the tallest person to fly in space.

Gene was a retired Army Major and boxer, while Louise was a basketball coach.
They married in 1957 and had six children including Michael.
