Drummer of the famous American rock band, Modest Mouse, Jeremiah Green has passed on at the age of 45 a few days after it was revealed that the star was battling stage four cancer.
“I don’t know a way to ease into this: Today we lost our dear friend Jeremiah. He laid down to rest and simply faded out. I’d like to say a bunch of pretty words right now, but it just isn’t the time,” his bandmates revealed.
It was reported earlier last week that the 45-year-old drummer was in a fierce battle for his life with his mother and fans sharing messages of healing to the star.
“Please send healing vibes for my son…who is battling stage four cancer. He is so strong and so brave and hanging in there,” his mother wrote in one social media post.
“Jeremiah was diagnosed with cancer a short while ago, and he’s currently in treatment. It seems to be going smoothly and making a positive difference,” his bandmates reported.
