Dutch football legend Marco van Basten has expressly stated his love for Ajax Amsterdam star Mohammed Kudus who is having an exceptional season.
Van Basten is of the view that Ghana forward is a better footballer than Manchester United star Antony who used to be on the books of Ajax Amsterdam.
Former Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder was not fond of the mercurial Ghanaian during his stint with the club. However, John Heitinga, the new coach has given the player a new lease on life which has seen the youngster put up excellent performances each time he steps on the pitch.
Van Basten regards Mohammed Kudus as a highly-skilled who is astute and more accomplished footballer than Antony.
He told Ziggo Sport on Monday evening that he finds find Mohammed Kudus a much better football player than Antony.
He admits that Antony has his skills, but stressed that he is confused with the things he is trying to do.
Van Basten further added that Kudus has much better technique and he knows what he is doing. Antony may be faster, but Kudus is smarter and more technical and he is much more of a footballer, you can place him anywhere on the pitch, an all-rounder for the team.
He concluded that he liked Kudus much better than Antony because he is more fun to watch play.
