Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has reportedly won her case of defamation against media personality Mona Gucci as court orders her to pay Ghc 500,000 as damages.
Remember Mona Gucci made a defamatory statement on Neat FM when giving out an array of female stars who are Slay Queens.
As you might have guessed, the slay queens have been described as female celebrity models who are gold diggers. They claim to live extravagant lives through social media.
Mona in the interview made reference to Yvonne Nelson as one of the celebrities in Ghana, however, the remarks did not go over well with Yvonne hence demanded an apology and retraction, but she declined.
Well, new reports that are coming out indicate that Mona was sued, but she did not appear in court because she was not forthcoming after being served with the summons.
The court headed by Justice John Eugene Nyante Nyandu has reportedly ordered that Ghc 500,000 should be paid by Mona Gucci to Yvonne Nelson and also offer an apology to her for the defamatory remarks in an interview.
