This record happens to be a cover of DJ Kaywise and Phyno’s trending song; “Highway” produced by Yung Willis.
“Sherifa” serves as a follow up to Maccasio’s his recent projects; “For The Money” and “Energy”. Real name Sherif Abdul Majeed, Maccasio launched his debut album; “Bousu” in 2014. His second album; Oshihila Nkpe was launched the following year.
He released his 3rd studio album; Ninsala in 2017. Maccasio raps mainly in his native language Dagbani with a blend of English, Hausa and Twi.
“Highway” by DJ Kaywise and Phyno was released on 8th December 2020. It has garnered over 13 million views on streaming platform, Audiomack.
