Multiple award winning South African songstress and performer, Shekhinah comes through with a brand new song dubbed; “Tides” off her latest body of works; “Trouble In Paradise” album.
This latest project, “Trouble In Paradise” album is the official follow-up to her 2017 debut album; “Rose Gold” which features Asali, Mariechan and Rouge.
“Trouble In Paradise” album spans for approximately 37 minutes. It houses 12 solid and mind-blowing tracks with features from Bey T, Luke Goliath and Una Rams.
Officially known as Shekhinah Thandi Donnell, Shekhinah was among the Top 32 contestants of M-Net’s Season 7 in 2011. The songbird also took part in the season 8 of South African Idols in 2012.
Shekhinah’s debut album, “Rose Gold” was certified platinum by The Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA) in August 2018.
“Rose Gold” album won album of the year at the South African Music Awards in 2018. She also bagged the female artiste of the year.
