Ghanaian actress and TV personality, Xandy Kamel, in a touching interview made revelations about the tragic loss of her daughter and subsequent marriage breakdown.
The actress speaking on United Showbiz on UTV said at the time she was venting on social media, it was due to pressing issues other than the dissolution of her marriage.
She revealed that she had then lost her daughter who had just completed Junior High School.
Xandy Kamel said that he marriage broke down only two days after she lost her daughter. She had discovered her husband had been unfaithful and was not interested in supporting her while she mourned her daughter.
She said two days after her marriage loss, her first child, who had just finished writing B.E.C.E. and was waiting for her results, died after drowning, and then she caught her husband cheating.
Xandy went on to say that when she tried reporting the case of her daughter drowning to the police and soliciting the support of her then-husband, he refused.
He also did not attend the girl’s funeral, leaving her to face the trauma all by herself.
