She was born on January 11, 1946, in Ashland, Kentucky, United States.
She and her daughter Wynonna formed the country music duo the Judds in the year 1983. They were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2021.
Together with the help of her daughter Wynonna Judd, Naomi formed the extremely successful duo of singers called the Judds.

They are the most well-known of country music’s mother-daughter pair, they had twenty of the top ten hits (including fifteen number ones) and were undefeated for eight straight seasons at the three major awards ceremonies for country music.
They were awarded five Grammy Awards and a vast assortment of other honors and awards. Naomi received the Country Song of the Year Grammy for her song “Love Can Build a Bridge”.
Naomi Judd passed away on April 30, 2022, near Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 76 due to mental illness disease.

Naomi Judd Early Life
Judd was born to Pauline Ruth “Polly” and Charles Glen Judd. Her father was an owner of a gas station.
In 1965, her brother Brian passed away from leukemia at 17 years old. Naomi Juddd’s first child, Christina Ciminella (later Wynonna Judd) was born when Judd was 18 years old.
Following her birth to her daughter Ashley in April 1968, who later went on to become an actress on stage and film as well as end her marriage to Michael Ciminella, Judd brought up her two daughters as a single parent.
