Naomi Judd was an American singer and actress who was born on January 11, 1946, in Ashland, Kentucky, United States.
She and her daughter Wynonna formed the country music duo the Judds in the year 1983. They were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2021.
Together with the help of her daughter Wynonna Judd, Naomi formed the extremely successful duo of singers called the Judds.
They are the most well-known of country music’s mother-daughter pair, they had twenty of the top ten hits (including fifteen number ones) and were undefeated for eight straight seasons at the three major awards ceremonies for country music.
They were awarded five Grammy Awards and a vast assortment of other honors and awards. Naomi received the Country Song of the Year Grammy for her song “Love Can Build a Bridge”.
Judd passed away near Nashville, Tennessee, on April 30, 2022, at the age of 76.

Update: Naomi Judd funeral service has been scheduled to be held on the morning of May 9, 2022, at the First Pentecostal Assembly of God at 10 am. Following the funeral, Naomi Judd will be laid to rest in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
