National Cathedral Will Boost Tourism In Ghana – Kennedy Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong, NPP MP for Assin Central, joined the National Cathedral discussion. Despite the President’s vow to God, the MP favors spending public monies to construct the Cathedral.

He says this Cathedral is a good concept and must be built despite the economic situation.

The lawmaker said the cathedral would be a big investment for the nation when it’s finished and asked Ghanaians for public cash to construct it.

The MP who hopes to win the NPP primaries and run for president in 2024 told Ghanaians to forget about the expense.

The Cathedral would boost tourism and income, according to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong. Government funds are inadequate, hence millions of Ghanaian cedis have been wasted.

The government has put up 80 million Ghanaian cedis for the National Cathedral in the 2023 budget.

The majority of Parliament supports its President despite objections to the cathedral award.
