The Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Peter Otokunor has said that when his party comes into power probably in 2021, they will use all means possible to remove the EC chairperson from office just as the NPP did to Charlotte Osei.
He says madam Jean Mensa does not deserve to occupy the position of the EC chairperson owing from how she conducted the 2021 general elections in Ghana.
When the NDC comes into power, we will use all means in as the way and procedure used in sacking madam Charlotte Osei to also kick Jean Mensa out”, he said on Kumasi-based Hello FM.
I have said it and I will say it again that, considering Jean Mensa’s duty as Electoral Commissioner, she does not deserve to occupy that position, not even for another day but because President Akufo-Addo does not work in accordance with democracy, she will still be there. But when we the NDC comes to power we will use all means in as the way and procedure used in sacking madam Charlotte Osei to also kick Jean Mensa out” , he said.
