Neal Adams was an American comic book artist.
He was the co-founder of the design studio Continuity Associates; and was a champion for the rights of creators who secured a pension as well as recognition to Superman Creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
Through his career, Adams co-created the characters Ra’s al Ghul Man-Bat and John Stewart for DC Comics.
Adams was inducted into the Eisner Award’s Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1998.
He was also inducted into the Harvey Awards’ Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1999, and then the Inkwell Awards Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame in 2019.
