Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has advised Shatta Wale to apologize to Nigerians over what his recent comment which he saw it to be a hate.
Shatta on his Freedom Wave Concert slammed Nigerian artists by using “F” words on them for not supporting Ghanaian artists after filling the Accra Sports Stadium.
Well, Yul Edochie, who said he likes Wale’s songs especially his already collaboration with Beyoncé, advised him to apologize to Nigerians because his statement is a hate speech.
Not only that, but Yul made a reference to when Ghanaians were getting lead roles in Nigerian movies, but none of his countrymen came out to issue a hate speech against Ghanaians.
Taking to Instagram, Yul Edochie wrote;
“Dear Shatta Wale, coming out to say ‘F*ck Nigerian artistes’ that’s extreme and too low for a man like you. That’s hate. I remember when Nigerian movie producers were giving all the lead roles to Ghanaian actors, a few years back, no Nigerian ever came out to say ‘F*ck Ghanaian actors’ I have lots of fans from Ghana who send me goodwill messages daily, inviting me to Ghana and I appreciate all of them. I’m a fan of your music. Your track with Beyonce is always on repeat in my car. No matter what is pissing you off a man like you with a large fan base should be using it to promote peace and unity among Africans and the rest of the world. You should apologise for such a statement.”
