Famous South African Amapiano artist, Nkosazana Daughter has received her first-ever nomination as a musician.
The ‘Kuwe’ hitmaker took to social media to express her joy after bagging a nomination at the Sound City MVP Award Festival for the Best Female MVP category.
Aside from the SA star, Msaki, Boohle, Tyla, Tiwa Savage, Gyakie, Zuchu, Niniola, and Ayra Star also made it to the list of nominees for the category.
Taking to her IG account, the singer revealed her happiness for the recognition adding that she was nominated among the best for that category.
“This is my first nomination, and it looks like this; nominated among the best,” she captioned her post.
Her post immediately got traction from her 1.3 million Instagram followers with scores congratulating her and wishing her success. Her colleague singer, Lady Du waded into the comment to declare her support for her adding that she will do anything to make her win the award.
“We will make sure you win it ❤️❤️❤️❤️ tell us what we need to do,” she wrote.
