Controversial Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster and socialite, Daddy Freeze, known privately as Ifedayo Olarinde, has said that there is no iota of blessing in giving money to parents who are rich.
Daddy Freeze who is the founder of Free Nation Online Church added that he has never given money to his mother who is a University Vice Chancellor because there is no blessing attached to it.
Posting on his Instagram page, Freeze urged his fans to instead give their money to the needy rather than their wealthy parents as the blessings for giving to parents can only be drawn when they are poor and needy.
He said the blessing is when you give to the poor, for there is no blessing in giving money to rich parents. He advised that “Honor thy father and mother” should not be monetized.
Daddy Freeze retorted that his money does not need money when asked by his fans to give his mother money. He recalled a time when his mother returned the money that was left for her with her personal assistant by a politician.
