Samini has explained his reasons for throwing his weights behind the ruling New Patriotic Party and defended Akufo-Addo by saying no government can fulfil all the promises they made.
While speaking on the UTV’s United Showbiz hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown, Samini explained that he supported Nana Akufo-Addo as well as the NPP government due to their policies that are good.
He said he believed that the promise, policies, and potential could help solve many of the problems that plague rural areas in Ghana, particularly his home town, Wa, so he had every right to put his weight behind them to see these policies and promises manifest.
Samini stressed that the reason he decided to throw his support for the NPP in the 2020 General election was not solely for the sake of personal gain, but to serve the interests of his countrymen and Ghana in general.
Samini was also quick to jump to defend the NPP after attacks launched by the opposition as well as a school of thought on social media suggesting that the growth of Ghana has been hindered by claiming that no government has been able to fulfil the commitments that they have made to Ghanaians, thus the attack against the NPP should stop.
