The Inspector General of Police, George Akufo Dampare has encouraged Ghanaians to go on with their lives and bother less about the evil ways of people because according to him no one can alter another person’s destiny.
Ushering Ghanaians into the new year, the IGP, Akufo Dampare explained that every individual is given a God-written destiny that cannot be altered. He added that the day someone may be able to change the destiny of another will prove that God is nonexistent.
“I want to assure you that individually, be convinced in your hearts and in your minds, that nobody born of a man or a woman can alter your destiny, when that happens, then there is no God.”
“What it means is that God who has destined you for something can just sit down and look and allow a human being to change that thing, just imagine that. So, whatever you go through, they are all calculated in order for your destiny to be accomplished,” he added.
The Ghana Police Service had warned the so-called prophets in the country who have made it a norm to deliver doom messages to cause fear and panic every year to desist from their actions and be circumspect with their choice of words.
However, Nigel Gaisie who claims to be able to tell what the future holds said that the IGP will lose his position as the head of the police service this year.
