Noel Campbell born on 11 December 1949 in Dublin, Ireland was an Irish professional footballer. He was a midfielder.
He began his professional career with St Patrick’s Athletic Football Club in 1966 in the League of Ireland.
Campbell played with his brother Johnny, he had played in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup against Girondins de Bordeaux.
Noel played eleven times for Ireland. He made his debut for Shamrock Rovers on 3 December 1980 in a Leinster Senior Cup tie.
He became the assistant manager to John Giles the following season and then took over as a manager in February 1983.
