Northern Elders Advise President Buhari To Handle Elections With Caution

A socio-political organization called the Northern Elders Council, NEC, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that the forthcoming general election is transparent and incident free and also be cautious when dealing with challenges that may arise.

One of the leaders of NEC, Mallam Tanko Yakasai, disclosed that there are some non-state actors with access to political power who intend to take advantage of their proximity to leadership to cause mayhem and topple the electoral process for their selfish interests.
