Novak Djokovic is a professional tennis player from Serbia. He was born on 22 May 1987 in Belgrade. He began playing tennis at the tender age of four after he was gifted a mini –racket and softball by his father.
He was then sent to a tennis camp in Novi Sad by his parents. Novak began his international career at the age of 14 winning European championships in singles, doubles, and team competitions. He turned professional in 2003.
When Novak was 20, he broke the stranglehold of the Federer-Nadal duopoly on the men competition when he won his first Grand Slam title at the 2008 Australian Open.

Srđan Đoković is Novak’s father. He was born in 1961 in Mitrovica, Serbia.
Srđan was a professional skier and ski instructor. He later opened a restaurant and sports equipment business.
Dijana Đoković was born on January 24, 1964. She used to run the family restaurant with her husband. Dijana is one of the biggest fans of Novak and is seen at most of her son’s games.
She is reported to have said her son is the greatest tennis player of all time.
