Nigerian rapper Olamide has revealed why he did not respond to Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale’s comment on Nigerian artists.
According to Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, known professionally as Olamide, saying nothing about the rant would hurt more than telling Shatta Wale how he felt.
This comes after a fan asked him if Shatta Wale’s rants doesn’t concern him.
The fan asked; “Shatta Wale matter no concern you?”
Olamide replied by saying; “Telling someone how you feel does not hurt as much as saying nothing at all.”

Despite Nigerians and many Ghanaians disagree with what Shatta said, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, known by his stage names Guru, speaking on Showbiz 360 backs Wale’s claims of Nigerian artists refused to support Ghanaian artists like the other way around.
According to Guru, Nigerians need to reciprocate the same love they get from Ghanaians.
He further noted that there should be a structure to uniformly make the two neighbouring countries benefit from each other because the one-sided push was worrying.
