Loretta Lynn was born on 14 April 1932 in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky.
She was an American singer-songwriter known for hit songs like “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and “You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man)”.
The movie Coal Miner’s Daughter was made based on her life.
Lynn wrote more than 160 songs and released 60 albums and was inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame in 1988.
When she was named “Entertainer of the Year” in 1972 by the Country Music Association, she became the first female to receive such honor.
Loretta died on 4 October 2022 aged 90.

He was born on 27 August 1926 in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky.
Loretta and Oliver were married for five decades until he died in 1996 at age 69.
He passed away from diabetes-related health problems and heart failure.
The couple had six children before Oliver passed away.
The children are; Betty Sue, Jack Benny, Ernie, Cissie, and twins Peggy Jean and Patsy Eileen.
Two of these children (Jack Benny died from drowning and Betty Sue who died from emphysema) have died.
