Over 20,000 Tickets Have Already Been Sold For Ghana’s Clash With Angola

Several media sources report that 0ver 20,000 tickets have been sold for Ghana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier encounters with Angola.

Both Dr. Kwame Kyei, chairman of the management committee of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, and Moses Parker the president of Medeama SC have bought about 1,500 tickets. They allocated these tickets to random Ghana football fans so they would show up in large numbers for the game. This was our days prior to matchday.

Black Stars supported followed the team bus upon their arrival at the airport to their base and also made their presence felt at the training sessions of the squad.

About a year ago, the Black Stars held their West African rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria to a goalless draw in a FIFA World Playoff match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium which is regarded as a fortress because Ghana has not lost a match at the venue in close to two decades.

Both Angola and Ghana have four points apiece going into Thursday’s match.

The Black Stars will be traveling to Luanda, Angola on 27 March for the return leg.
