Part Of Buduburam Or Liberia Camp To Be Demolished

One of Ghana’s fast growing areas and refugee camp locate in the central region identified as Buduburam will soon undergo a demolition exercise as some part will be demolished

According to sources, the demolition exercise is to pave wave and enhance the free movement of vehicles on the Accra Cape coast road and also to develop that area into a more standardize one

The cleared land will enable the Regional Minister to put up a Senior High school, a modern market and a residential community

In the words of the District chief executive for Gomoa East, Mr Solomon Darko – Quarm, He said “ It has become a fast growing community which need social and economic amenities to befit it status. Among the Amenities which will be provide in the area will be a Public Senior High School which will complement the St Gregory SHS which was recently adopted by the government but lacks the capacity to accommodate Junior High School Graduate in the area. The timely project when completed will be a great relive for many road users especially motorist plying the Accra – Cape coast highway”
