Veteran Nigerian actress cum producer, Mercy Johnson has revealed that she did away with indecent dressing after legendary actress, Patience Ozokwor jumped on her case and advised her to dress decently.
The actress made the revelation during the recent edition of her cook show, Mercy’s Menu with Patience Ozokwor. The legendary actress asked Mercy Johnson if she remembered her advice.
“Do you remember when you were younger before you got married when I told you that the photos you take today, your children will see them tomorrow and immediately the kind of lifestyle you lived?” Patience Ozokwor asked.
Responding to her query, Mercy Johnson revealed that even though she had given her that piece of advice, she still learned the hard way.
“Yes you did, you told me Mercy dress properly, you will have kids and when they grow up, they will ask you, why are you looking this way? Yes, I remember, I’m lucky but I still learned the hard way really.”
Speaking during the same show, Patience Ozokwor revealed that she decided not to remarry after the passing of her husband to please her kids who begged her to stay single.
“I wanted to remarry but my kids had already come of age and they pleaded with me not to marry another man and they promised they will be my husband,” she said.
