Paul Ginsborg was a British historian who was born on July 18, 1945, in London, United Kingdom.
Professor in the 1980s at the University of Siena from 1992, he was Professor of Contemporary European History at the University of Florence.
Ginsborg is known for his contributions to academia through his writing for journals, articles for publication on socio-political issues.
He is the author of books like A history of Contemporary Italy (1990), The Politics of Everyday Life (2005), Democracy: Crisis and Renewal (2008), and many others which were used in Academia.
Ginsborg studied at Queens’ College, Cambridge (B.A. 1966), and was subsequently a Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge.
Ginsborg died on May 11, 2022, at the age of 76.
