Poloczek was a professional bodybuilder. He got into bodybuilding when he was 16 years old after trying his hand at football.
In the year 2002, he joined the renowned Powerhouse Gym franchise in Germany and later become its owner.
After starting his bodybuilding career at the age of 16, he won his first competition the following year at the age of 17 and years later claimed second place at the German Championships in the Super-Heavyweight division in 2012.
The champion bodybuilder received his pro card after winning the Arnold Classic Amateur tournament in Ohio, USA, in 2017.
Poloczek’s wife confirmed his death at the weekend in a touching Instagram post on May 28, 2022.
“Bodybuilding was your life. You are not forgotten, you live on in our hearts. We will love you forever,” the late pro bodybuilder’s wife wrote in the Instagram post, accompanied by an image of a black ribbon and Poloczek.
It’s not yet clear how the Polish athlete passed away, with neither his wife or doctors confirming the cause of death publicly.
He was 37 years at the time of death. He was born in Poland and spent the majority of his life in Germany.
Poloczek leaves behind a young daughter and wife, Katherin DeNev, who confirmed his death on Instagram.
