Festus Keyamo, one of the spokespersons for the Bola Tinubu, Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, said on Sunday that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has gone into political epilepsy.
He said the condition has come about as a result of the endorsement of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress by President Muhammadu Buhari.
There have been some speculations in recent times that there is a rift between President Buhari and Bola Tinubu.
Bola Tinubu has openly pointed fingers at some elements in the present government for working to undermine his presidential ambition.
He also believes that the recent fuel scarcity and redesign of the naira are schemes targeted at him in order to discredit him.
Despite Bola Tinubu’s misgivings, President Buhari came out openly to pledge his support for him and called on Nigerians to vote for him.
Keyamo has said in a tweet that since President Buhari endorsed Bola Tinubu Lafia, the PDP has gone into a fit of political epilepsy, calling press conferences and issuing incoherent statements.
